<h3>Eligibility</h3>
<ol>
<li>U.S. Citizen with a Master&#8217;s Degree in Health Care, Hospital or Health Service Administration, Health Policy, or a Master&#8217;s in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Administration. Programs must be CAHME, AACSB, or CEPH accredited. Master&#8217;s degrees in public administration with an emphasis in health care administration accredited by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) are also accepted.</li>
<li>U.S. Citizens with a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Health Care, Hospital or Health Service Administration, Health Policy, or Business Administration will be considered with a minimum GMAT score of 525 and/or a minimum GRE score of 1050</li>
<li>Preferred: Residency completion and employment experience in Health Care Administration, GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, administrative residency completion or professional employment in Hospital Administration.</li>
<li>Max age 41.</li>
</ol>
<h3>Job Description:</h3>
<p>16 hours per month and two weeks per year in the drilling Navy Reserves, at a local reserve center. Choose from additional subspecialty vocations, including management information systems, manpower, personnel and training analysis, medical construction liaison, medical material logistics, operations and medical intelligence, and fleet marine force. Serve your two weeks per year at some of the top Navy facilities in Bethesda, MD, Portsmouth, VA, and San Diego, CA.</p>
<p>We are specifically looking for people who could serve their one weekend/month in Sioux Falls, SD.</p>
<h3>Benefits:</h3>

<li>$10,000 signing bonus</li>
<li>Family Care Health Plan for $197/month, or individual health care plan for $50/month.</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em><strong>In September 2011,  the South Dakota Public Health Association hosted a FREE webinar regarding the health reform law and how it affects you and public health in South Dakota and nationally.  You can view an archived version of the webcast, and have the opportunity to learn from state and nationally recognized experts in health policy.</strong></em></p>
<p><strong>Susan Polan, PhD,</strong> is the Associate Executive Director of Public Affairs and Advocacy for the American Public Health Association and has almost two decades of experience in public health, government relations and associations.  She has drafted legislation for Senate consideration on tobacco control and Safe and Drug Free Schools as an American Association for Advancement of Science Congressional science and technology fellow for the Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee, served as director of federal government relations at the American Cancer Society and as president and senior advisor of Partnership for Prevention.</p>
<p><strong>Deb Fischer-Clemens, MHA, BSN,</strong> currently serves as the Vice President of the Avera Center for Public Policy in Sioux Falls, S.D. and has been involved in Nurse leadership positions, impacting the practice of nursing for the past 30 years and her experience in health policy stems from her service as the South Dakota State Representative for District 20 from 1995 to 2000.  During her political service, she also advocated for women and children, especially in the areas of health care and abuse and neglect. Public safety issues, including immunizations, and decreasing tobacco use among young people, were also priorities for her.</p>
