In South Dakota, public health services aren’t as widespread as they are in more populated states. That’s why it’s important to join together and share resources so we can improve the overall health of our state.
As the face of public health continues to change, you can count on the South Dakota Public Health Association (SDPHA) to be your voice through awareness, prevention and wellness initiatives designed to reduce healthcare costs statewide.
Your membership in our Association is crucial to promote public health practices and services along with the continued development of the public health workforce. It is structured by specific initiatives and aims to influence legislative action on public health issues. The SDPHA provides opportunities for members to meet, share knowledge and experiences while strengthening public health throughout the state. The Association provides leadership and encourages a cooperative effort amongst many branches of healthcare.
We have various individual annual membership categories and three partner member levels.
Individual Memberships
Individual- For anyone with an active interest in public health, do not need to be a public health professional. All professions in allied health are welcome.

Individual and Student- Any individual looking to join as a member but would also like to support a student and donate a membership to an up and coming professional.

Student- Any student with an awareness and appreciation for public health.
$15.00
Sustained- Any individual wishing to support at higher level for additional programming opportunities.

Bronze Partner - This annual basic membership provides:
